I've always wanted to answer the Proust Questionnaire at the back of Vanity Fair:

What is your greatest fear? Being forgotten.

What is your current state of mind? Knowledge-hungry.

What is your favourite occupation? Creating art.

Which historical figure do you most identify with? Rene Descartes.

Which living person do you admire the most? (same answer as Walter Matthau) Madonna.

Who is your favourite hero of fiction? Bug Barbecue.

Who are your heroes in real life? My mother.

What is your most treasured possession? My senses.

When and where were you happiest? Lost in NYC alone.

What is your most marked characteristic? My ambition or my patience.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Stubborness.

What is the trait you most deplore in others? Normalcy or dependancy.

What is your greatest extravagance? My Tag Heuer watch and British magazines.

What is your favourite journey? The subway crossing the bridge to Manhattan from Brooklyn.

What do you dislike most about your appearance? My body.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Honesty.

On what occasion do you lie? I lie to myself quite a lot throughout the day.

Which words or phrases do you overuse? "Dear God," "okee," "fucking" and "for sure!"

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? EVERYTHING.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Coming out of highschool rather unscathed.

Where would you like to live? In a loft with big windows on the edge of a booming Metropolis.

What is the quality you most like in a man? Masculinity.

What is the quality you most like in a woman? Femininity.

What is it that you most dislike? Ignorance and manufactured music artists.

What do you most value in your friends? Their toleration of me.

How would you like to die? No, thanks.

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what do you think it would be? A Siamese cat.

If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? A really beautiful woman with a really intuitive mind.

What is your motto? "Live and learn" and "Buck up, don't fuck up!"
