nyc pictures

I'm back in town and I miss nyc so much. So much so that I have decided to apply to FIT and join the ranks of the New York fashion elite. Or I might go to NYU to do some photography.

I did a tour and our facilities are much better but they have the contacts. And I would kick butt. I saw some of the thesis work and I was not impressed.

But what do I know? Anyway, I hope something develops as I am sick of this city and sick of all the people I know.

I need to refresh my browser window.

But to bring back some fond memories, I have some small preview photographs from my nyc trip.

I went to the newly renovated MoMa and it was an amazing experience. They had a fantastic Thomas Demand show (he is a must-see!) and I had to take a pic of my favourite Andreas Gursky mural.
The second pic is of Jane and Liz walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. And the bottom is the MoMa's atrium.

The Nomadic Museum was a glorious site to see. The second pic is Max drinking with me at Cheapshots on 2nd and 1st. And how convenient that my ex was in nyc at the same time visiting family. Sometimes he can be so square but he's still cute.

This is an amazing restaurant we ate at in Billyburg, Brooklyn called Sea. I think it was the nicest restaurant I have ever eaten in terms of my own personal decor tastes .I liked everything about it including the skylit pond with the Buddha and the lotus scrim. The dishes were only $7 with an appetizer. My martini was to die for. I am definitely going back and throwing a party there in one of the private tables.

On one evening, my ex and I were in Union Square and the sky just turned an amazing colour as it was storm was starting to brew. It was such an animated moment. The sky was moving so fast and a lot of people stopped dead in their tracks.
And the bottom is me lying in my sleazy hotel room watching Leno at 4 AM. I was completely hammered and anxiously awaiting another day in my favourite cit y.

More pics to come..
